Any Manager can perform on the field more and kick dirt on umpires, the Hall of Famer told the Post on Tuesday, George m. Steinbrenner Field. It was exciting. This was part of the game. That woke up everybody and everybody loved it.

Now you sit there for five minutes and wait for the replay-ing of. And half the time, you can't even tell.

Who's died in the last 100 years due to a bad call? They say, well they lost for a world series and the kid lost his perfect game.  I said: Who died? Let the human element in the game. You can't take the human element out of baseball because it's the fabric of the game .

Gossage remains upset about the State of baseball in 2016 because he cares so much about the game.

They can say whatever you want about ' old school ' and the game passed me by, said Gossage." Let me tell you something: The game does not pass me by.

Gossage plucked for a generation flip Bat and the ' baseball ' running ' nerds last week for ESPN and doubled and tripled down on your comments. After the storm, he was called to a meeting with Yankees Manager Brian Cashman. So but he wants to make it clear that he is only speaking out because of his love for the game that has done so much for him.

I had a lot of people call me and support me, he said. I haven't heard a negative thing about my phone.

It's a shame, it breaks my heart to see the direction this game is going. What, we want a lot of Cam Newton running around?

So, if anyone keeps in check, there's no one to keep him under control, first of all, no one wants to bite the hand that they or the hand that feeds them today fed. The only connection we had was Joe Torre. It's like Washington DC. Everyone starts with good intentions. You can't beat them, join them.

This is the revenge of the nerds, and they're going to get the last laugh-I know that, said Gossage. These guys played rotisserie baseball at a Harvard or wherever they are played, and they were successful, so they think that's all there is to it. This is only a small part f-ing the game.

Let me tell you, you can't control the game, no matter how hard you try. We gave up long ago trying to figure out this s-t out. He has a mind of its own, it has a character of its own. And they're having this character out of the game.

It breaks my heart,  he added. I see the lack of fundamentals. The children are not being taught how to play the game. It's all about the offense. All this just breaks my heart.

Over 40M people of Irish descent are in the United States, 8x more than the population of Ireland

The Irish people (Irish: Muintir na hÉireann or Na hÉireannaigh) are a nation and ethnic group native to the island of Ireland, who share a common Irish ancestry, identity and culture. Ireland has been inhabited for about 9,000 years according to archaeological studies (see Prehistoric Ireland). For most of Ireland's recorded history, the Irish have been primarily a Gaelic people (see Gaelic Ireland). Anglo-Normans conquered parts of Ireland in the 12th century, while England's 16th/17th century (re)conquest and colonization of Ireland brought a large number of English and Lowland Scots to parts of the island, especially the north. Today, Ireland is made up of the Republic of Ireland (an independent state), and the smaller Northern Ireland (a part of the United Kingdom). The people of Northern Ireland hold various national identities; including Irish, Northern Irish, British, or some combination thereof. The Irish have their own customs, language, music, dance, sports, cuisine,

On his second day in office, Carter pardoned all evaders of the Vietnam War drafts. During Carter's term as President, two new cabinet-level departments, the Dep

TIL the first animal to ask an existential question was from a parrot named Alex. He asked what color he was, and learned that it was "grey".

Alex (1976 – 6 September 2007) was an African grey parrot and the subject of a thirty-year (1977–2007) experiment by animal psychologist Irene Pepperberg, initially at the University of Arizona and later at Harvard University and Brandeis University. When Alex was about one year old, Pepperberg bought him at a pet shop. The name "Alex" was a backronym for avian language experiment, or avian learning experiment. Before Pepperberg's work with Alex, it was widely believed in the scientific community that a large primate brain was needed to handle complex problems related to language and understanding; birds were not considered to be intelligent, as their only common use of communication was mimicking and repeating sounds to interact with each other. However, Alex's accomplishments supported the idea that birds may be able to reason on a basic level and use words creatively. Pepperberg wrote that Alex's intelligence was on a level similar to dolphins and great apes. S
